Many Reasons to Give Thanks...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know we did, and we have so many reasons to give thanks! We gathered with our families Thursday for two delicious meals and got to spend Friday afternoon with our nephew Bek while Becky and Andrew celebrated her birthday. There are more festivities to come tomorrow as we celebrate my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday to all the November babies! There seem to be more and more of them in our family now (Pops, Baba, Becky, Will and Emmy)!

Enjoying the morning at Peggy's house for brunch...Emmy did well on round 1 of the food marathon. She ate all of her plate (breakfast casserole, an assortment of fruit, ham rolls, sausage rolls, and sausage pinwheels), a little of Will's food and a little of Mimi's plate! Good food, good times. Thank you Peggy for hosting us!

Round 2: Thanksgiving dinner at Nana's. As you can see, Emmy carried on her big appetite and chowed down on some turkey, dressing, green beans, dumplings and rolls! Thanks Nana for the delicious meal. We all enjoyed it...especially Emmy!
Emmy LOVED sitting in this chair at Nana's house. She made this cheesy little face to show her delight.

Friday, we got to babysit Bek while Becky and Andrew celebrated her birthday. He came to play for a few hours, and the cousins had a blast. I had a grand idea to take them to the mall to get their picture made with Santa. Let's just say that didn't go so well. Bek was terrified of Santa, and Emmy didn't want to sit on his lap. Nightmare at the North Pole! Needless to say...the photo never happened. We took them by McDonald's for a Happy Meal, and they were happy as can be back at home playing together and eating french fries and chicken nuggets. Again, Emmy did not miss a bite and enjoyed every piece of her meal.

Santa...I promise they are good boys and girls. They'll be happy to see you next year! :)
