Another Year In the Books

And just like that, we find ourselves reminiscing on the good memories of 2015 while looking ahead to a new year that we hope to fill with even more amazing memories.

Seth and I got our first night out alone on New Years Eve Eve. We went out this very same night last year but for a different reason. Last year, we wanted a night alone to process the news we had learned the day after Christmas. This year we went out to celebrate that very same news. And so we welcomed our 3rd baby this year. I am not sure there is anything that can top that in the book of memories.

But we did have some great memories...we took the kids to Disneyworld in the spring, we experienced the last summer of Camp Nickajack swimming lessons, we watched Emmy enter 1st grade and grow up overnight, we watched Gavin thrive in his new preschool, we witnessed both kids playing soccer for the first time - so timid and unsure of the game, we went to Florida for Thanksgiving and enjoyed so much about that trip. I could go on and on.

The biggest however is that we brought another baby into this world - the beginning to a new life that enriched our family more than we could ever know. This memory makes 2015 a very special year in my books.

We welcomed 2016 spending the day with good friends. I am happy to embark on a new year with good friends/family and am thankful for a great year. Cheers to a New Year!

A few pics to finish out 2015...

We celebrated my mom's birthday December 29th and went to eat lunch. She had given Mia and Emmy matching outfits they wore. So cute!

New Year's Day selfie!
Like Father, Like Son! G is really wanting to be like his daddy these days, and he wanted to dress like him on New Year's Day. Love this!
G and Ceci standing in a tree! They love each other so much!
