Last week, this guy and I headed out on the most amazing trip to Asheville, NC. He had it all planned out from our first stop for lunch in Knoxville. We hiked, exercised, ate good food, visited downtown Asheville, a local brewery, the Biltmore, the spa, a winery AND slept in until 8 every morning. It was SO fun, and my head is still in the mountains and clouds.
Below was the view from our hotel, The Grove. A-MA-ZING!! From the moment I walked in the hotel doors, my breath was nearly taken away at the outside view. Our room was to the right in this picture, and we had our windows open to the mountain air the entire time. It felt like we were the only ones here with such a private room.
We got pretty good at selfies since that is the only way to get pictures together!:) This was from the first day there. We found our happy place in the mountains.
This was our view from dinner the first night!!
Eating at a local brewery.
A visit to the Biltmore. This house is so unbelievable! I am not a huge fan of big tourist attractions like this, but it is a "gotta see" type place. You can't even imagine the beauty until you see in person.
Lunch in downtown Ashville. Life is Good. No kids, no worries, no problems.:)
This was across from the entrance to the spa.
No complaining when THIS is your view with your morning coffee. Such a fun trip in so many ways. Thanks Seth for a wonderful trip full of great memories.
