This past weekend, I took the three kids to Pigeon Forge for Emmy's gymnastics meet. It just so happened that Nana and Pops were planning to go AND it was Nana's birthday! Daddy had some big work stuff going on and couldn't make the trip, but we had a ball with Nana and Pops. A HUGE shout out and thank you so them for helping me all weekend. I know I couldn't have made it with all three without them.
Friday night, we got there just in time to celebrate Nana's birthday with dinner and cake.
Saturday, we took the kids to the Wilderness in the Smokies WaterPark. It was lots of fun, and I even got to do a few rides with the kids.
This is where Knox stayed the entire time. He didn't want a thing to do with the water but enjoyed watching Emmy and Gavin do the slides.
Saturday night, we went to the Dixie Stampede. They honored the gymnasts with a free ticket and let them walk across the arena before the show began. We met up with one of Emmy's teammates and got seats on the front row!! It was a blast, and we especially enjoyed watching Gavin's face as they brought out a whole chicken and put on his plate. You must remember this is my extremely picky eater. With every piece, he cringed. And then he finally received a corn on the cob and apple pie that he liked. Other than the food, he loved the show! Haha!
This show didn't start until 8:30!!! This little guy was a champ. He didn't eat a bite because he was too busy watching the horses and clapping. It was the cutest!
And of course, my big guy loved everything about the show!!
Sunday, Emmy's meet didn't start until late afternoon so we stuffed our faces at FlapJacks and headed out to Margaritaville for some fun.

Knox was so excited to ride the Choo Choo with Pops. Below is his new "Cheese" face.
And then what we came for! Emmy did amazing at her meet and scored 3rd on beam, 3rd on vault, 4th on floor and 4th on bars. She took 4th overall in her division. Proud of this girl!
