Last Saturday was Gavin's big day. This kid loves creating, drawing, and painting. I was so excited for him when we got the letter that his art was selected as one of two Kindergartners in his school to be featured at the Frist Center of Nashville. Emmy received this honor last year, so it was special when little brother got to do the same thing! We made it a fun day and had Gavin's favorite meal - pancakes at the Pfunky Griddle - before heading to the Frist to see his art.
So thankful Williamson County schools do this for the kids to continue to inspire them in their art. Can't wait to see where this kids love of art will take him!
This was his work above and below is the artist who they were copying. I will admit at first sight, we had no idea what artist they were copying until his art teacher told us. We looked it up, and it all made sense and he did a good job re-creating his own!
