Four Nines = Five Donuts

Whew! Last week was a whirlwind, beginning with Emmy's State Gymnastics meet, moving to our 2018 Spring Break trip, and ending with Easter festivities for the weekend! I'm going to do my best to catch up with everything this week. Let's start with Emmy's State Meet in Clarksville. This girl ROCKED her first ever gymnastics season and state meet. She had her best meet to date and got her personal best scores on most everything. She tied for 2nd on bars, got 2nd on beam and 3rd overall in her division. She is eager, motivated and won't give up. I love her heart and the 100 percent effort she puts into everything. Can't wait to watch her as she continues to grow in this sport she loves so much.
She is pictured above with her wonderful coaches Jenny and Re. She was alone in her age group at this meet, and they were so sweet to keep her smiling and laughing every step of the way.
We told her she got a donut for every 9 she scored and if she got a total over 36. This girl works for donuts and earned FIVE!!
