Seth and I have made it a goal to take one trip a year alone to be able to be able to spend quality time alone together and visit places that may not be as fun for the kiddos. This was one of those trips. We chose to go to Primland in Virginia over the summer before school started. We began the trip with a quick stop in Knoxville to visit with our dear friends John and Nancy. We haven't seen them since college and it was great to re-connect! We spent the night at a cool boutique hotel in downtown Knoxville before heading to Virginia to this gorgeous venue with acres and acres of outdoor fun.
We hiked, went to the pool, spa, biked, went to an aviary, saw amazing sunsets and tried new things like skeet shooting and an ATV ride across the property! We saw multiple bears and just enjoyed being in the great outdoors. So grateful to our parents who tag team our kiddos so we can enjoy trips like this!!
