Happy Halloween!

What a wonderful and busy weekend it has been! Halloween 2010 was a fun one at the Estep household. Little Minnie had an eventful weekend full of parties, family gatherings, friend visits, staying up late, candy and more candy! I'm not sure an almost two-year old gets what halloween is all about, but she sure had fun participating in all the festivities!

Saturday morning we met up with some friends at pumpkinfest in downtown Franklin. We had so much fun seeing our good friends. As you can see below, Em seemed to think her sunglasses were part of the costume. Every time we put on her costume, she felt it wasn't complete without the glasses. Stylin' Minnie! Oh, and by the way, her Mimi made this costume which was SO cute. Thanks to Mimi for a pretty awesome costume!! :)

Saturday night we went to Mimi and Baba's for a photo session and halloween party. Emmy was definitely all cheesed out by the end of the night but had loads of fun playing with her cousin Bek. On the way home, she said "fun at Mimi's house!" So cute!

We ended the weekend today with a visit from Nana and Pops and a little trick or treating in our neighborhood. E didn't really know what was going on but quickly got the hang of ringing the door bell all by herself and saying "trick or treat." We made it through several houses before it was time to call it a night and eat dinner.

Halloween 2010 is a wrap! Good times, great fellowship, yummy candy! :)

This is Emmy and Bek's photographer, David who is SO good with kids. We had so much fun with him...more to come on that session!
Emmy is excited about her halloween puzzle from Nana and Pops!
Our first stop on the trick or treat route...Nan's house! Em makes herself at home.
Next stop...she's starting to get the hang of this!
Trick or treating is pretty fun!
