SOLD

Yes, we did. We finally sold our house after a little over 4 months which seemed like an eternity. I will never forget those months of hot, sweaty, tired kids in the backseat covered in goldfish, juice and whatever else quietened them. Floor boards covered in barbie pieces, crayons and any other random toys I let Emmy bring along to appease her while we rode around in the car. My stinky, neglected dog in the front seat perched right beside me on the arm rest being a trooper. And of course, me wiping sweat off my forehead after cleaning the house with 2 kids and a dog in 90+ degree heat. We had our routine down.

But routines change. Today our routine is dodging boxes all over the house, and packing and then re-packing after the kids unpack what's already been done. Change is in the air at the Estep household, and it is beginning to affect everyone. While Seth and I work through the stresses of moving in general, Emmy seems to be a little sad about moving. She said she doesn't want to move, but I have assured her it is for the best.

Since we were waiting on our house to sale before we put an offer on another, we found ourselves looking at temporary housing when we learned the closing would be within the month. So we're packing up and heading to our old stomping grounds in Columbia while we search for another home here in Franklin. While are sad to leave Franklin, we are happy to settle where we can get the house sale behind us and focus on the new house purchase.

C-Town here we come! And goodbye to Franklin for now, but we'll be back!
