SNOW

We had a great weekend here on Emery Lane! Saturday, we woke up to a surprise snow. Although it was very miniscule and nothing in comparison to the snows my Chicago friends see, this was significant for us Middle Tennessee folks. It was the first, and may be the last snow we see. And best of all, it was the kind of snow that is pretty when you wake but disappearing by noon. The kids were so excited and couldn't wait to frolic in the dusting. We made some bacon cheddar pancakes (yes...these are delicious) and headed out. Coming in at about an inch, we made the most of it and managed to make snowballs, a miniature snowman and snow angels. I love seeing their faces when we play in the snow. Happy!
E's mini snowman...

Time for some snowball fights! This girl proved to be pretty good at throwing snowballs!

Some little furry friends also really enjoyed the snow! Coco and Blossom were so happy. They ran circles and played until their paws were covered in frozen ice balls. Had to put them both in a warm bath afterwards.
