Yesterday we celebrated Dads. I love that his holiday falls in the summer because some of the best father activities involve warm weather, including spending a day at the lake. We joined our good friends at the lake for the 2nd year in a row of celebrating the dads. We had a great time being with good friends and family. G Man lived it up and enjoyed every second! The picture above is one of my favorites ever because this is where he found his happy place yesterday. He spent most of the boat rides at the front just like this. Considering he is pretty obsessed with pirates right now, I am pretty sure he was playing pirates in his head and pretending to be captain of the ship.
Both kids tubed for the first time, and G was in heaven! These pictures are from my cell phone and not the greatest, but he had a smile from ear to ear the entire time.
These sweet girls took their turn at tubing together. It took a few turns, but they finally got in the groove and started liking it. :)
These little guys were making their pirate faces for us. Little Kellan sure has a sweet pirate face! :)
The dads and kids finished off the day with a "lake bath" with the kids to clean off.
Happy Father's Day to all the great daddies in our life. We are so lucky to have two great father role models to us and grandfathers to our children. And I am lucky to have this great father to our kiddos. We love you Seth!
