Most Dependable Girl

Tuesday was the last day of school, and Monday we had the 2nd grade end of year party and awards. I can't believe another year has come and gone. Seems like the years just get faster and faster once they hit Kindergarten. This girl has had her best year yet, and we owe it to her wonderful teacher, Mrs. Hardin. She has challenged her academically, while always enforcing good manners and respect in the classroom and among peers. Mrs. Hardin's class is full of love and respect for one another and they are like family. I know Emmy will miss seeing each and everyone one of them.

Mrs. Hardin awarded Emmy the Most Dependable Award in her class for being trustworthy and responsible. She said Emmy has the most integrity of any 2nd grader she has ever had and she can always count on her to get the job done - no matter what it is. I am proud of her for this and many other other things this year. She has juggled her school and sports so well and been extremely responsible in keeping it all together.

Bring on third grade ... but a fun summer first!!
