Let's face it...travel slows down with kids. Between the packing, the plane tickets for a family of 5, and all the hassles that come with it, we just can't do as much travel as we would like. So when we started to look for somewhere to go on our 15th anniversary trip, we knew we needed to make the most of it and do something really special and unique. After much research, we discovered the ultimate place for us in Colorado called Dunton Hot Springs. It is truly a one-of-a-kind, special place tucked away in between Telluride and Durango. There is nothing fancy about this place...it simply offers pure serenity, impeccable service and authenticity. With only about 10 cabins and mountains for miles surrounding the town, you experience a peacefulness that is unlike anywhere else. Cap that with an incredible staff who meets your every need, custom chefs who provide 5 star dining and natural hot springs throughout the property. While this may not be the ideal vacation for everyone, it was exactly what we wanted. I am so grateful for our parents who took care of our kids so we could do this experience. I will never forget this special place and time.
I put together this little video of all our pictures since I had a bunch. My camera broke while we were there so these were all my cell pictures. Luckily, we have good cell cameras so they turned out ok!
