Emmy turned 6 months old today! She is at such a fun age, and we love watching her learn and try new things. Some of her highlights right now are trying new baby foods, trying to crawl and trying to talk as much as mommy. :) We started her on baby food last week, and she is fascinated yet disgusted with the new tastes. It's a love-hate thing...she loves eating food but kinda hates some of the flavors right now. I think she is starting to acquire a taste for some of them, especially the sweet potatoes. She is very close to crawling and wants to move so badly. She can now sit up by herself for a while before taking a nose-dive into the carpet as she loses her balance. She definitely loves hearing her voice right now. For 20 minutes straight, we get to hear the same vowel note preceded by an "m" or b" usually. I swear she is saying "Ma-Ma" right now (even if she doesn't know who that is)!
I don't know how it can be comfortable, but we recently discovered that Emmy sleeps with her little behind up in the air like this. It is so cute!

Time flies, Sarah Ann sleeps the same way Emmy does, it is funny, i always look in on her just to see that butt in the air. Her knees are always really red when she gets up. Can't wait to see ya'll Monday.
