Weekends on Emery Lane

It's Sunday, and we made it through another week!! The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend, so we spent most of the days outdoors. Friday, we drove to the Butcher Shop in Franklin to pick up meat, so the picture above was the kids in the car for the first time in weeks. They were giddy to get to ride somewhere with the windows down and music up!

Friday night, I worked some puzzles with this guy. He said the glasses helped him find the pieces better! Haha!
Saturday, we cleared out an area that we have needed to clear since we moved in. We decided on the perfect zip line spot, and Seth pulled out the chain saw and took down some trees to make it happen!
Below are the videos of some of the first rides on the newly installed zip line. It was so fun and the kids did it a hundred times this weekend!
Ended our Saturday night with a fire and movie on the patio.
I am trying to focus on the positives each day and go to bed with a grateful heart. Things are not ideal for anyone, but it's important to find the good. I am grateful for so much, but today I am especially thankful for this outdoor space for the kids during this quarantine. It has definitely made it easier being able to find peace in nature. Hope everyone is finding something that gives them peace.

Cheers to 4 weeks down and who knows how many more to go! We got this together!! XO
