Every April 23rd, we celebrate these three! It's a family-shared birthday with Seth, Carter and Taye. We celebrated Taye turning NINE with a neighborhood birthday parade! It was amazing to see the community come together to support this special kiddo. He loves policeman so about 10 policeman, a firetruck and tons of friends and neighbors put on an awesome quarantine birthday parade! It was the most memorable birthday we will never forget. I will post a video when I can upload it!
We didn't get to be with Carter but sent our happiest birthday wishes for this awesome TEN year old!
And we celebrated the big man at home after work with a burnt pizza from Jonathan's and homemade gifts from the kids. Sweet Gavin spent his entire morning putting together this video for his dad to watch when he got home (in addition to his hand-painted picture frame and coffee k-cup holder made from cardboard. He wanted to make it special for his dad, and Emmy wrote the sweetest note. This year wasn't full of fancy gifts and dining, but we enjoyed the simple times and were thankful to be healthy and together!
